Parmesan cheese - one of the best cheeses to go with pasta. Cheese made in Italy, and specifically in the region of Emilia-Romagna. Production and maturation takes about three years. 16 litres of milk is needed to produce 1 kilogram of the cheese. Parmesan cheese is ideal for every pasta dish, whether served hot or cold. It has an intense, spicy flavour and a subtle aroma. To bring out the flavour of Parmesan fully, we sprinkle it on hot pasta. The high temperature of the pasta melts the cheese, bringing out its full flavour.
